GAMEPACK OVERVIEW

The Borderlands 3 Gamepack provides vault hunters with everything they need to seek fortune and adventure.

  • WEAPON PROFILES make full use of the Classic Button Scheme to allow you to have the ideal Weapon Fire and Anti-Recoil setting tracked across all 4 weapons.

  • SHORTCUTS allow you to change your weapon mod setup without returning to Mod Central.

  • AIM ABUSE snaps you to enemy targets so that you can dispatch them with ease.

PACK OVERVIEW
GAMEPACK ACTIVATION

Select the Gamepack Slot:  HOLD the top LEFT SELECT / PADDLE Button to navigate using EITHER PADDLE to CYCLE through the 8 GAMEPACK MODE SLOTS, represented by LEDs 1-8.

  • The GEAR HEAD EYES will be FLASHING back and forth.

    • Your device will ONLY display the current GAMEPACK SLOT LED.

MASTER QUICK CONTROL suspends the entire pack.

  • HOLD TOUCHPAD / VIEW & CROSS / A together for 1 second to SUSPEND / RESUME the entire pack (Suspended: Heavy Rumble / Resumed: Light Rumble).

GAMEPACK SETUP

WARNING:  VIBRATION ON REQUIRED in-game, as well as in your console's menu settings.

  • If vibration or rumble from games is undesired, load up Mod Central, click on the top left Remapper section, then ensure BOTH Disable Rumble and Mirror Advanced Settings are CHECKED, then SAVE.

 

To configure this pack correctly so that mods are placed on the correct buttons and working optimally for your in-game sensitivity, MATCH the required settings in Mod Central, marked MATCH IN-GAME, to your current in-game settings.

  • USE THE FOLLOWING IN-GAME SETTINGS TO ENSURE THAT MODS WORK CORRECTLY:

    • Button Scheme: Classic.​

The following Global Mods, Auto Run and purple settings can ONLY be setup in Mod Central:

 

  • WARNING:  Turbo Melee will interfere if you are required to hold the corresponding button.  Suspend via the Master Controls or use Paddle Mod alternatives.

  • Hair Triggers causes L2 / LT / R2 / RT to be treated by the game as if they have been fully pressed down the moment they are registered as being pressed.  This can save precious milliseconds of reaction time and it has NO effect on mods.

  • Turbo Melee allows you to HOLD MELEE to repeatedly melee as quickly as possible.  This is a fast timing that should work well for most games.  You can still TAP MELEE normally.

Anti-Recoil Mode determines which form of Anti-Recoil will be applied to the Weapon Profiles.  We recommend using “Quick Edit”.

  • See the Weapon Profiles section to adjust Anti-Recoil with Quick Edit.

  • See the Menu Navigation & Adjustables section to adjust Anti-Recoil in the Menu.

AIM ABUSE

Aim Abuse can be set for each of the 4 Weapon Profiles.  This mod will snap you to targets.  It is normal to see it aiming in and out and slightly shaking your screen.  You can set this up in Mod Central but we recommend toggling Aim Abuse ON/OFF on the fly for each weapon as needed.  See the Weapon Profiles section for more information.

WEAPON PROFILES
WEAPON PROFILES (CLASSES 1 - 4)

For your UP, DOWN, LEFT & RIGHT D-PAD weapons, you can assign a Weapon Fire Mod, adjust Anti-Recoil and toggle Aim Abuse for each weapon on the fly.

  • WEAPON MODS:

    • Regular Fire is suitable for fully automatic weapons and is as the game intended / OFF.

    • Rapid Fire is suitable for semi-automatic weapons.  HOLD FIRE for max fire rate.

    • Dynamic Fire allows you to control the Rapid Fire speed based on how much PRESSURE you apply to the FIRE TRIGGER.

    • Quick Scope is suitable for sniper rifles & shotguns.  SCOPE IN & RELEASE ADS to fire.

    • Aim Abuse snaps to targets.  It can be toggled ON alongside any of the above mods.

  • SWITCH / TOGGLE WEAPON MODS:

    • Regular Fire:  This is the OFF state.

    • WHILE HOLDING D-PAD direction of the weapon:

    • Rapid Fire:  TAP R2 / RT.

    • Dynamic Fire:  TAP R1 / RB.

    • Quick Scope:  TAP L1 / LB.

    • Aim Abuse:  TAP L2 / LT.

    • TAPPING the same button again will toggle a mod OFF.

  • QUICK EDIT allows you to quickly adjust ADS Anti-Recoil on the fly.

    • ALWAYS RE-SELECT THE WEAPON FIRST TO ENSURE PROPER SYNC...

      • WHILE AIMING DOWN SIGHTS & FIRING...

      • RAPIDLY TAP DOWN D-PAD until the weapon is level.  At this point you can optionally RELEASE FIRE to save ammo.  If the weapon pulls down too far, UP D-PAD will reduce the strength of the Anti-Recoil.

        • Compare recoil patterns on a wall.  Ideally all bullets will appear in one place but a weapon may have randomized or side to side recoil which will prevent a perfect result.

AUTO RUN
CLASS 5 – AUTO RUN

When Auto Run is ON, it activates the Sprint / Run Button while the MOVEMENT ANALOG STICK is MOVED FORWARD.

CLASS 6 & 7 – PADDLE MODS

When Class 6 is ON, LEFT PADDLE will activate your chosen Paddle Mod.

When Class 7 is ON, RIGHT PADDLE will activate your chosen Paddle Mod.

All adjustable mods can be adjusted in Mod Central.  This section provides context and additional information on adjusting them on your controller using the Menu Mode.

  • To enter Menu Mode, HOLD LEFT D-PAD for at least 5 seconds.  You MUST remain HOLDING LEFT D-PAD to stay in the Menu.

Class Structure:

  • Class 1 = Weapon 1 & Anti-Recoil 1 Adjustment.

  • Class 2 = Weapon 2 & Anti-Recoil 2 Adjustment.

  • Class 3 = Weapon 3 & Anti-Recoil 3 Adjustment.

  • Class 4 = Weapon 4 & Anti-Recoil 4 Adjustment.

  • Class 5 = Auto Run.

  • Class 6 = Left Paddle.

  • Class 7 = Right Paddle.

Menu Mode Navigation:

  • SQUARE / X goes UP a class.

  • CROSS / A goes DOWN a class.

  • TAPPING a PADDLE goes to the class for that PADDLE.

    • GREEN Lightbar / WHITE LED flashes indicate the currently selected class number.

  • TRIANGLE / Y goes UP a mod within the currently selected class.

  • CIRCLE / B goes DOWN a mod within the currently selected class.

  • This will change your currently enabled mod!

    • PURPLE Lightbar / GREEN LED flashes indicate the currently enabled mod number.

Anti-Recoil can be adjusted via Quick Edit as explained under the Weapon Profiles section.  It is also adjustable via the Menu Mode.

  • Navigate to either Class 1, 2, 3 or 4 to adjust the corresponding Weapon Profile.

  • L1 / LB will increase the vertical Anti-Recoil value; pulling your weapon down.

  • R1 / RB will decrease the vertical Anti-Recoil value; allowing your weapon to go up.

  • R2 / RT will test fire so that you can see if your weapon is roughly level.

Turbo Paddle.

  • Navigate to either Class 6 or Class 7 on Mod 8 to adjust the shared Turbo Paddle setting.

  • L1 / LB will decrease the Turbo speed.

  • R1 / RB will increase the Turbo speed.
