Halo 5 Guardians v1.1.0 2018.06.12.

 

The Halo 5 pack is designed to support all layouts with unique mods that enhance your agility and maneuverability, such as optimized AUTO RUNEASY BOOST allowing you to quickly thrust in all directions and JUMP STABILIZER suspending you in the air just that little bit longer to cross gaps and reign death from above.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

MASTER QUICK CONTROL allows you to HOLD the TOUCHPAD/VIEW Button & TAP the CROSS/A Button at the same time to SUSPEND/RESUME ALL MODS in a hurry, so that mods can never interfere when you do not want them to.

BUTTON & STICK - By DEFAULT, this pack is configured for the in game DEFAULT button & stick settings.  If you are using different in game settings, you MUST MATCH these settings in the Mod Central config for the mods to function correctly.

 

OPTIMIZED FOR HALO 5 - This pack is designed to provide the optimal experience with Halo 5; it is NOT supported with other Halo games and results may vary.

ACTIVATION

Select the appropriate GAMEPACK MODE SLOT.  HOLD the top LEFT SELECT/PADDLE Button to navigate using EITHER PADDLE to CYCLE through the 8 GAMEPACK MODE SLOTS, represented by LEDs 1-8.  You will know that you are in GAMEPACK MODE as identified by the GEAR HEAD EYES FLASHING back and forth.  Your device will display the current GAMEPACK SLOT LED.

 
 
MENU MODE NAVIGATION
 
CLASS 1 – WEAPON FIRE

When Rapid Fire is ON, as long as you are HOLDING down the Fire Button (default RIGHT TRIGGER), the game will think you are rapidly tapping it as fast as possible.  Semi-automatic weapons that would normally only fire a single bullet or burst each time, will become fully automatic.

 
CLASS 2 – WEAPON FIRE ACTIVATION MODE

Affects how Class 1 Weapon Fire is activated.  By default, your chosen Weapon Fire mod (for example, Rapid Fire), always activates while.  If Press Sensitive is ON, your chosen Weapon Fire mod will NOT activate until you FULLY HOLD the Fire Trigger.

 
CLASS 3 – ANTI-RECOIL

When Anti-Recoil is ON and adjusted accordingly, your aim will be automatically pulled down upon firing, reducing weapon recoil.

 
CLASS 4 – EASY BOOST

When Easy Boost is ON, Quickly Move (default LEFT STICK) TWICE in the direction you want to activate thruster.  Easy Boost can be set to strafe, move or both axis. You can adjust the timing for you to perform Easy Boost to be more or less forgiving.

NOTE:  It is RECOMMENDED to use the D-Pad to navigate any in game menu (or suspend the mod see below or Master Quick Control), so that Easy Boost does NOT interfere with your menu navigation.

 
CLASS 5 – AUTO RUN

When Auto Run is ON, you will never have to click in the analog stick and will instead automatically run upon near maximum forward movement.  There is an adjustable wait time to ensure that Auto Run waits for you to finish reloading.  The default is 2 seconds which means that upon reloading, it will wait 2 seconds before running again.

 
CLASS 6 – JUMP STABILIZER

When Jump Stabilizer is ON, Hold Aim Down Sights (default LEFT TRIGGER) while mid-air to maintain your jump height for longer to assist in reaching ledges and crossing gaps.

 

NOTE:  Jump Stabilizer REQUIRES these in game settings to function correctly.  Controller settings, Toggle Crouch MUST be OFF and Auto-Stabilize MUST be ON.

 
CLASS 7 – QUICK SCOPE

When Quick Scope is ON, Aim Down Sights (default LEFT TRIGGER) will Quick Scope in your sniper rifle and fire.  There are four different types of Quick Scope that affect how it is activated.

 
CLASS 8 – HAIR TRIGGERS

When Hair Triggers is ON, triggers will always be treated as if they have been fully pressed down the moment they are registered as being pressed.  This may not be immediately obvious but it can save you precious milliseconds when you react to enemies.

 
CLASS 9 – BUTTON LAYOUT MODE + FLIPPED

If you are using the in game Default button layout and you have no interest in Flipped, then you can safely ignore this section.


Otherwise you MUST match the Class 9 Button Layout Mode with your in game button layout selection, or the mods will not function correctly.  Ideally you will have already done this within the Mod Central configuration for this GamePack, in which case no further action is required.

 

Flipped swaps bumpers with triggers and can be selected in Mod Central or as a LEFT BUMPER toggle from within Class 9.  It is a substitute for the lack of an in game setting.  Do NOT use any console interface level remapping and be aware that in game prompts for triggers and bumpers will no longer match your controls (RIGHT TRIGGER prompt will actually be RIGHT BUMPER on your controller, etc).  When Flipped, the Press Sensitive Trigger feature used in some mods is disabled.

 
CLASS 10 – STICK LAYOUT MODE

If you are using the in game Default stick layout, then you can safely ignore this section.


Otherwise you MUST match the Class 10 Stick Layout Mode with your in game stick layout selection, or the mods will not function correctly.  Ideally you will have already done this within the Mod Central configuration for this GamePack, in which case no further action is required.

 
MASTER QUICK CONTROL

MASTER QUICK CONTROL will SUSPEND/RESUME MODS for situations where you might need NO MODS in a hurry, so that mods can never interfere when you do not want them to.

  • HOLD the TOUCHPAD/VIEW Button & TAP the CROSS/A Button at the same time to toggle.

    • SUSPEND:  HEAVY rumble / RESUME:  LIGHT rumble.
