GAMEPACK OVERVIEW

World War Z v1.0.2 2019.07.10.

The World War Z pack includes several helpful mods.

  • Fire your semi-automatic weapons at maximum speed with RAPID FIRE or control your fire rate and improve your accuracy at different ranges with DYNAMIC FIRE.

  • Snap to targets with AIM ABUSE.

  • Reduce recoil on weapons during gameplay with ADS ANTI-RECOIL - QUICK EDIT, and save to 4 profiles.

  • Lay the smack down with SHOT PUNCH or TURBO MELEE.

OVERVIEW
GAMEPACK ACTIVATION

Select the appropriate GAMEPACK MODE SLOT.  HOLD the top LEFT SELECT/PADDLE Button to navigate using EITHER PADDLE to CYCLE through the 8 GAMEPACK MODE SLOTS, represented by LEDs 1-8.  You will know that you are in GAMEPACK MODE as identified by the GEAR HEAD EYES FLASHING back and forth.  Your device will display the current GAMEPACK SLOT LED.

MASTER CONTROLS

MOD TOGGLE is helpful for quickly suspending the majority of mods at will, especially if mods designed for a specific action are interfering with other in game actions or the in game menu.  This control does NOT affect your paddle mods.

  • While Aiming Down Sights (default LEFT TRIGGER), PRESS in the TOUCHPAD/VIEW Button to SUSPEND/RESUME All Mods, except Paddle Mods.  We are aware this is a menu button; if you need to access this menu, simply stop Aiming Down Sights.

MASTER QUICK CONTROL is helpful if mods designed for a specific action are interfering with another in game action or menu.  This is similar to Mod Toggle, but it affects all mods including your paddle mods.

  • HOLD the TOUCHPAD/VIEW & CROSS/A Buttons together for 1 second to SUSPEND/RESUME All Mods.

ACTIVATION
GAMEPACK SETUP

This pack comes configured for DEFAULT controls with all in game settings reset to default.

  • To configure this pack correctly, MATCH the required settings in Mod Central, marked MATCH IN GAME, to your current in game settings.

  • If you wish to play with Flipped Bumper/Trigger Swap, set it in Mod Central.

WARNING:  Custom remapping beyond what is supported or otherwise altering your controls through ways outside of the in game settings is UNSUPPORTED and will cause mods to NOT function as intended, or at all.

  • Hair Triggers can be set to Enabled in Mod Central.  With this mod, triggers will always be treated as if they have been fully pressed down the moment they are registered as being pressed.  This can save precious milliseconds of reaction time, without affecting any mods.

MENU MODE NAVIGATION

We HIGHLY RECOMMEND setting up all mods in the Mod Central config, but advanced users are welcome to access the Class Mods from the GamePack Menu Mode:

SETUP
CLASS 1 – WEAPON FIRE

When Rapid Fire is ON, HOLD down the Fire Button to fire semi-automatic weapons at maximum speed.

  • You may notice a loss of maximum fire rate with fully automatic weapons.

When Dynamic Fire is ON, the higher the pressure on the RIGHT TRIGGER, the faster your weapon rapidly fires.

  • The same points apply as Rapid Fire.

  • Your ranged accuracy improves with slower fire rates.

  • For Dynamic Fire, your Fire Button MUST be a TRIGGER.

  • If Enabled, Anti-Recoil ONLY applies while the RIGHT TRIGGER is FULLY HELD down.

Weapon Fire Quick Shortcuts:  While HOLDING the RIGHT D-Pad,

  • Rapid Fire:  TAP the RIGHT TRIGGER  (ON:  1 Heavy Rumble / OFF:  Light Rumble).​​​

  • Dynamic Fire:  TAP the RIGHT BUMPER  (ON:  2 Heavy Rumbles / OFF:  Light Rumble).​​​

Mod Toggle Quick Control:  While Aiming Down Sights (default LEFT TRIGGER),

  • All Mods (except paddle mods):  TAP the TOUCHPAD/VIEW Button.

    • SUSPENDED:  Heavy Rumble / RESUMED:  Light Rumble.​​​

      • Examples when you may wish to SUSPEND mods:  in game menu.

Weapon Fire Activation:  Weapon Fire mods while highly effective, are not practical in all scenarios.  This Mod Central setting fully utilizes the RIGHT TRIGGER to provide you with more control over when your mod will be activated.

  • With Always Activated, if the RIGHT TRIGGER is HELD in any way, your Weapon Fire mod will be ACTIVATED.

  • With Fully Hold Activation, if the RIGHT TRIGGER is FULLY HELD all the way down, your Weapon Fire mod will be ACTIVATED.  Dynamic Fire is incompatible with Fully Hold Activation.

  • With Fully Hold Blocked, if the RIGHT TRIGGER is FULLY HELD all the way down, your Weapon Fire mod will be BLOCKED.  Dynamic Fire can achieve full fire rate with fully automatic weapons.

WEAPON FIRE
CLASS 2 – AIM ABUSE

When Aim Abuse is ON, whenever you are FULLY HOLDING the Aim Down Sights Button (default LEFT TRIGGER) all the way down, you will snap your current target.

If you are unhappy with our optimized timing, you are welcome to play with the Aim Abuse Custom with sliders available in Mod Central for ADS HOLD and RELEASE time.

ANTI-RECOIL
CLASS 3 – ADS ANTI-RECOIL

When ADS Anti-Recoil is ON, and adjusted accordingly, your aim will be automatically pulled down upon firing, reducing weapon recoil.

  • Anti-Recoil ONLY activates from Aim Down Sights (default LEFT TRIGGER).​

  • Choose Anti-Recoil Quick Edit in Mod Central, if you want to adjust it on the fly during gameplay.  NOTE:  Quick Edit is NOT available with Flipped Bumper/Trigger Swap.​​

  • First, select 1 of 4 Anti-Recoil profiles during gameplay; while HOLDING the DOWN D-Pad:

    • TAP the TRIANGLE/Y Button for Profile 1.​

    • TAP the CIRCLE/B Button for Profile 2.

    • TAP the CROSS/A Button for Profile 3.

    • TAP the SQUARE/X Button for Profile 4.

    • The controller will rumble the number of times to indicate the profile number.

You can now adjust Anti-Recoil for your currently selected profile.  Not enough weight and your weapons will still pull upwards; too much weight and your weapon will begin pulling downwards; you want your weapon to be as level as possible.  When you are first adjusting Anti-Recoil, we recommend setting up your favourite weapons while looking at a wall.

  • With the Quick Edit feature, during gameplay, while HOLDING BOTH Aim Down Sights & Fire (default BOTH TRIGGERS):

    • Quick Edit adjusts and saves to the profile that you are currently switched to.​

    • If the weapon is pulling up, keep TAPPING the DOWN D-Pad (Rumbles).

    • If the weapon is pulling down, keep TAPPING the UP D-Pad (Rumbles).

    • If while adjusting, you reach the MAX/MIN setting (No Rumble).

    • When the weapon is level while firing, you have the correct setting.

    • NOTE:  Quick Edit is NOT available with Flipped Bumper/Trigger Swap.

  • If you are NOT using the Quick Edit feature, you will have to enter Menu Mode, and make your way to Class 3 Mod 1 or 2:

    • Menu Mode adjusts and saves to the profile that you are currently switched to.

    • To test the weapon at any time, HOLD the RIGHT TRIGGER.

    • If the weapon is pulling up, keep TAPPING the LEFT BUMPER (Light Rumble).

    • If the weapon is pulling down, keep TAPPING the RIGHT BUMPER (Heavy Rumble).

    • If while adjusting, you reach the MAX/MIN setting (No Rumble).

    • Once you are happy with the weapon, you can exit Menu Mode.

While HOLDING the RIGHT D-Pad:​

  • TAP the LEFT TRIGGER to SUSPEND/RESUME ADS Anti-Recoil.

    • SUSPENDED: Heavy Rumble.​

      • RESUMED: Light Rumble.

      • This individual Quick Control is useful when you pick up a weapon that you have NOT accounted for in your 4 profiles.

MELEE MODE
CLASS 4 – MELEE MODE

When Shot Punch is ON, HOLD the Melee Button (default RIGHT BUMPER) to shoot, then punch.

When Turbo Melee is ON, HOLD the Melee Button (default RIGHT BUMPER) to melee as fast as possible.

CLASS 5 & 6 – PADDLE MODS

When Class 5 is ON, LEFT PADDLE will activate your chosen Paddle Mod.​

 

When Class 6 is ON, RIGHT PADDLE will activate your chosen Paddle Mod.
