GAMEPACK OVERVIEW

Fortnite v2.3.1 2019.10.16.

 

The Fortnite Gamepack contains everything found in the Fortnite Optimized Gamepack but with advanced adjustability and additional mods for highly experienced players.

  • Decimate them all as you snap to and track your opponents with AIM ABUSE.  Use a preset Aim Abuse such as Adaptive or customize your own settings to your liking.

  • With the WEAPON FIRE AI family, easily detect which weapon you are using and then use it at its best.  Quickly switch between Weapon Fire Mods at will.

  • With RAPID FIRE AI, fire your semi-automatic weapon at maximum speed, including a weapon detection feature to determine if a weapon needs Rapid Fire.

  • Combine AIM ABUSE with SMART FIRE AI for high precision controlled fire when picking off your opponents, with a weapon detection feature to provide the optimal fire rate.

  • With DUAL FIRE AI, detect dual weapons and then quickly switch and fire between them, gaining an unexpected and unpredictable upper hand in combat.

  • Command the building space with BUILD ASSIST PRO for Builder Pro.

  • Add a dual purpose to the weapon switch buttons for more active mods with SPLIT FIRE.

  • Bounce around with AUTO BUNNY HOP, ​catch your opponents out with ACCURATE SHOT, pick your opponents off with QUICK SCOPE and much more!

As of the latest Fortnite update, Legacy Controls MUST be ON to use this Gamepack.

PACK ACTIVATION

Select the Gamepack Slot:  HOLD the top LEFT SELECT / PADDLE Button to navigate using EITHER PADDLE to CYCLE through the 8 GAMEPACK MODE SLOTS, represented by LEDs 1-8.

  • The GEAR HEAD EYES will be FLASHING back and forth.

    • Your device will ONLY display the current GAMEPACK SLOT LED.

 
 
MASTER CONTROLS

MOD TOGGLE is the quickest way to suspend ALL MODS except Paddle Mods.  This is helpful to keep mods designed for one gameplay function from interfering with another, for example, mods interfering with building or vehicles, and it is helpful to suspend mods while accessing the in-game menu or lobby.

  • WHILE AIMING DOWN SIGHTS (default L2 / LT), PRESS in TOUCHPAD / VIEW to SUSPEND / RESUME All Mods except Paddle Mods ​(Suspended: Heavy Rumble / Resumed: Light Rumble).  If this is your Map Button, simply stop aiming down sights to access it.

 

GLOBAL MODS suspends the Global Mods (Auto Bunny Hop, Accurate Shot, Quick Scope).

  • WHILE AIMING DOWN SIGHTS, HOLD DOWN D-PAD & R3 / RS to SUSPEND / RESUME the Global Mods (Suspended: Heavy Rumble / Resumed: Light Rumble).

 

MASTER QUICK CONTROL suspends the entire pack.

  • HOLD TOUCHPAD / VIEW & CROSS / A together for 1 second to SUSPEND / RESUME the entire pack (Suspended: Heavy Rumble / Resumed: Light Rumble).

 
GAMEPACK SETUP

WARNING:  VIBRATION ON REQUIRED in-game, as well as in your console's menu settings.  Fortnite has it turned off in-game with its default settings so go in and fix this to ON.

  • If vibration or rumble from games is undesired, load up Mod Central, click on the top left Remapper section, then ensure BOTH Disable Rumble and Mirror Advanced Settings are CHECKED, then SAVE.

To configure this pack correctly so that mods are placed on the correct buttons and working optimally for your in-game sensitivity, MATCH the required settings in Mod Central, marked MATCH IN-GAME, to your current in-game settings.

  • USE THE FOLLOWING IN-GAME SETTINGS TO ENSURE THAT MODS WORK CORRECTLY:

  • For Controller Sensitivity, ONLY identical values are supported for the X/Y settings.​​

  • For Controller Building Sensitivity, ONLY increments of .250 are supported.

  • For Dead Zone, ONLY the default setting is supported.

  • Legacy Controls MUST be ON.

CUSTOM REMAPPING IS LARGELY UNSUPPORTED, but some popular requests are included.  In this case, select a Builder Pro Custom option in Mod Central, then in-game, RESET the Custom option to Builder Pro and remap ONLY the following:

  • If you are using Builder Pro Custom RIGHT D-Pad Edit in Mod Central:

    • Remap your RIGHT D-Pad to Edit (NOT Switch Mode) in-game Combat/Build Controls.

  • If you are using Builder Pro Custom LEFT STICK Edit in Mod Central:

    • Remap your LEFT STICK to Edit (NOT Switch Mode) in-game Combat/Build Controls.

    • Set "Sprint by Default" to On in the in-game settings.

  • If you are using Builder Pro Custom LEFT STICK Edit & Confirm in Mod Central:

    • Remap your LEFT STICK to Edit (NOT Switch Mode) in-game Combat/Build Controls.

    • Remap your LEFT STICK to Confirm in-game Edit Controls.

    • Set "Sprint by Default" to On in the in-game settings.

  • If you are using Builder Pro Custom RIGHT STICK Jump in Mod Central:

    • Remap​ your RIGHT STICK to Jump in-game Combat/Build/Edit Controls.

    • Remap your CROSS / A Button to Crouch/Repair in-game Combat Controls, Rotate/Repair in game Build Controls, and Reset in-game Edit Controls.

  • If you wish to play with Flipped Bumper/Trigger Swap, select Builder Pro Custom Flipped in Mod Central, head over to the game, RESET the Custom option to Builder Pro, then remap the Combat/Build/Edit Controls to swap your bumpers with your triggers.

 
GLOBAL MODS
  • Easy Fishing unlike most Global Mods is always available to activate and hence it is NOT listed in Mod Central.

    • Hold out a fishing rod then WHILE HOLDING FIRE, aim where you want to fish then TAP DOWN D-PAD.​  Any button press or movement will deactivate Easy Fishing.

 

The following Global Mods and purple settings can ONLY be setup in Mod Central:

  • Auto Bunny / Dolphin Dive allows you to repeatedly jump (on land) or dive (in water) with the ideal stamina timing, while the MOVEMENT ANALOG STICK is FULLY moved to the EDGE.

    • Once Auto Bunny / Dolphin Dive is set in Mod Central:

      • For Auto Bunny, WHILE AIMING DOWN SIGHTS & HOLDING DOWN D-PAD, TAP CROSS / A to toggle bunny hopping ON (Heavy Rumble) or OFF (Light Rumble).

      • For Dolphin Dive, it is activated automatically.  Simply be sprinting and jump once in water.

  • Accurate Shot allows you to fire a single accurate shot while standing still.  Accurate Shot is especially effective with a Hand Cannon:

    • Once Accurate Shot is set in Mod Central, stand still and ensure you are NOT Aiming Down Sights.

    • TAP ATTACK/FIRE to fire a single accurate shot.

    • NOTE:  Accurate Shot will NOT work with scoped weapons.

  • Quick Scope automatically fires a single shot when RELEASING AIM DOWN SIGHTS, allowing you to time your perfect Quick Scope.  Quick Scope is most effective with sniper rifles and high damage single shot weapons.

    • Once Quick Scope is set in Mod Central, WHILE AIMING DOWN SIGHTS & HOLDING DOWN D-PAD, TAP TRIANGLE / Y to toggle Quick Scope OFF (Light Rumble) or ON (Heavy Rumble).

  • Hair Triggers register on XB1 as quickly as possible to improve reaction time, without affecting mods such as "Weapon Fire Activation" (Fortnite already does this itself on PS4).

BUILD MODE TRACKING

Build Mode Tracking is ONLY for the Builder Pro button layout.  When set to Enabled, it will track CIRCLE / B presses to prevent interference from mods while you are trying to build.

  • In Build Mode, a YELLOW LIGHTBAR 4 WHITE LEDS will indicate mods are SUSPENDED.  They are RESUMED when you exit Build Mode, but this can potentially DESYNC; just switch to your pickaxe or TAP TRIANGLE / Y to RESYNC.​​​​

  • ​Inventory will also be tracked; ALWAYS exit Inventory with CIRCLE / B to avoid DESYNC.

 

  • Alternatives to Build Mode Tracking include the Build Assist Pro Paddle Mod, Mod Toggle, Master Quick Control, or Paddle Mod alternatives.

LAG COMPENSATION

Lag Compensation is a setting for players with higher pings (100+).  If weapons skip shots or building mods desync, MATCH IT TO YOUR AVERAGE PING.  This slows down time sensitive mods in an attempt to get them working but it is NOT a guaranteed fix.

 
 
WEAPON FIRE ACTIVATION

Weapon Fire Activation provides you with more control over when Weapon Fire Mods such as Rapid Fire will be activated based on the pressure applied to the ATTACK/FIRE TRIGGER.

  • IMPORTANT:  Your Fire Button MUST be either L2 / LT / R2 / RT for this setting to take effect.

  • "Always Activated" means HOLD ATTACK/FIRE TRIGGER to activate Weapon Mods.

  • "Fully Hold Activation" means FULLY HOLD ATTACK/FIRE TRIGGER to activate Weapon Mods.

    • ​Dynamic Fire is incompatible with Fully Hold Activation.

  • "Fully Hold Blocked" means FULLY HOLD ATTACK/FIRE TRIGGER to block Weapon Mods.

    • Dynamic Fire achieves full fire rate with fully automatic weapons via Fully Hold Blocked.

WEAPON FIRE SHORTCUTS

Weapon Fire Shortcuts can be changed as a last resort for players that keep accidentally activating Weapon Fire Mod shortcuts during gameplay.

  • With AI Detection & Quick Shortcuts, this is the fully featured default and recommended setting.  Use AI Detection controls to detect your weapon for each Weapon Fire Mod, then use the Quick Shortcuts to switch between all 3 mods.

    • WHILE AIMING DOWN SIGHTS, you can still ping with OPTIONS / MENU.

 

  • With AI Detection Only, Weapon Fire Quick Shortcuts will be removed which is much less convenient.  Use AI Detection controls to detect your current weapon as a means of toggling ON the Weapon Fire Mod.  Ping is still on Left D-Pad while aiming down sights.

AIM ABUSE MODE

Aim Abuse Mode affects the functionality of the Aim Abuse when Class 2 Mod 1 or 2 is ON.

 

If set to Adaptive, RECOMMENDED, Aim Abuse ADS speed will automatically change to improve tracking based on camera movement.  Aim Abuse ADS adjustables will have zero effect.

 

If set to Dynamic, Aim Abuse ADS speed will automatically change to improve tracking based on ATTACK/FIRE TRIGGER pressure.  Aim Abuse ADS adjustables will have zero effect.

If set to Custom, Aim Abuse will have a fixed ADS speed based on the Aim Abuse Custom ADS adjustables.  For more information, see the Menu Nav & Adjustables section.

 
 
 
 
CLASS 1 – WEAPON FIRE AI

Weapon Fire AI Set  [Select 1, 2 or 3 in Mod Central]:

 

When Rapid Fire AI is ON, HOLD ATTACK/FIRE to fire your semi-automatic weapon at maximum speed.

  • You may notice a loss of maximum fire rate with fully automatic weapons.

  • Automatically determine whether your current weapon is suitable with Rapid Fire AI:

    • See Weapon Fire AI Detection.

When Smart Fire AI is ON and you have detected your current weapon, WHILE FULLY AIMING DOWN SIGHTS, HOLD ATTACK/FIRE to automatically control your fire rate while you are moving slowly or stationary, which significantly improves ranged accuracy.

  • Use Smart Fire AI with Aim Abuse to maximize the accuracy of Aim Abuse compatible weapons (Aim Abuse will be automatically disabled for incompatible weapons).

  • You MUST detect your current weapon with Smart Fire AI to apply the correct fire rate:

    • See Weapon Fire AI Detection.

When Dual Fire AI is ON and you have detected your current dual weapons, you can do what pro players have mastered, which is switching and firing between dual weapons to maximize damage output in close range battles.

  • You MUST be using either the Builder Pro or Combat Pro button layout.

  • You MUST arrange your inventory with 2 weapons in slots side by side.

  • You MUST detect your current dual weapons with Dual Fire AI:

    • ​See Weapon Fire AI Detection.

    • A good choice is a shotgun in the left slot and a submachine gun in the right slot.

Remember to select the weapon in the left slot before entering combat.  WHILE AIMING DOWN SIGHTS, HOLDING ATTACK/FIRE switches and fires between dual weapons.

Weapon Fire AI Detection REQUIRES that you are clear and away from any vibrations, action, enemies, grenades and the storm.  You MUST have at least a reload remaining to ensure correct weapon detection.

  • Rapid Fire AI Detection:

    • HOLD AIM DOWN SIGHTS & LEFT D-PAD TOGETHER until your weapon test fires.

  • Smart Fire AI Detection:

    • HOLD AIM DOWN SIGHTS & UP D-PAD TOGETHER until your weapon test fires.

  • Dual Fire AI Detection:

    • With 2 weapons in slots side by side, select the weapon in the left slot, then:

      • HOLD AIM DOWN SIGHTS & RIGHT D-PAD TOGETHER until both weapons test fire.

      • When using your pickaxe, ensure that you are NOT aiming down sights or you toggle OFF the mod (see Quick Shortcuts below).

Weapon Fire Quick Shortcuts:

If you have just detected your weapon, the Weapon Fire Mod will already be ON.

WHILE AIMING DOWN SIGHTS:

  • Rapid Fire:  TAP LEFT D-PAD  (ON:  1 Heavy Rumble / OFF:  Light Rumble).

  • Smart Fire:  TAP UP D-PAD  (ON:  2 Heavy Rumbles / OFF:  Light Rumble).​​

  • Dual Fire:  TAP RIGHT D-PAD  (ON:  3 Heavy Rumbles / OFF:  Light Rumble).

  • Mod Toggle:  PRESS in TOUCHPAD / VIEW  (SUSPENDED:  Heavy Rumble / RESUMED:  Light Rumble)

Weapon Fire Set 2 [Select Mod 4, 5 or 6 in Mod Central]:

When Rapid Fire is ON, HOLD ATTACK/FIRE to fire your semi-automatic weapon at maximum speed.

  • You may notice a loss of maximum fire rate with fully automatic weapons.

When Dynamic Fire is ON, the higher the PRESSURE on the ATTACK/FIRE TRIGGER, the faster your weapon rapidly fires, allowing for improved ranged accuracy with less PRESSURE.

  • The same points apply as Rapid Fire.

  • For Dynamic Fire, your ATTACK/FIRE MUST be either L2 / LT / R2 / RT.

  • With Flipped, this mod will function as Steady Fire (default Smart Fire timing).

When Auto Burst Fire is ON, HOLD ATTACK/FIRE to fire your fully automatic weapon in bursts for improved ranged accuracy.

  • You will have to RAPIDLY TAP ATTACK/FIRE yourself to fire your semi-automatic weapon.

Weapon Fire Quick Shortcuts:

If you have just detected your weapon, the Weapon Fire Mod will already be ON.

WHILE AIMING DOWN SIGHTS:

  • Rapid Fire:  TAP LEFT D-PAD  (ON:  1 Heavy Rumble / OFF:  Light Rumble).

  • Dynamic Fire:  TAP UP D-PAD  (ON:  2 Heavy Rumbles / OFF:  Light Rumble).​​

  • Auto Burst Fire:  TAP RIGHT D-PAD  (ON:  3 Heavy Rumbles / OFF:  Light Rumble).

  • Mod Toggle:  PRESS in TOUCHPAD / VIEW  (SUSPENDED:  Heavy Rumble / RESUMED:  Light Rumble)

Weapon Fire Set 3 [Select Mod 7, 8 or 9 in Mod Central]:

Weapon Fire Set 3 is identical to Weapon Fire Set 2 except for the fact that you need to be AIMING DOWN SIGHTS to use these Weapon Fire Mods.

 
CLASS 2 – AIM ABUSE

When Aim Abuse is ON, it will actively encourage the in-game aim assist and snap on mechanics to snap you to targets, even at up to 200m.


Aim Abuse activates whenever you are FULLY AIMING DOWN SIGHTS, which is generally more immediate, effective and likely to snap onto a difficult to spot target in the distance.

 

Aim Abuse on Fire activates whenever you are FULLY AIMING DOWN SIGHTS & FIRING TOGETHER, which is generally more discreet, allowing you to manually aim onto a target before snapping to it.

Always Activate variants remove the need to FULLY ADS.  Activation will occur even with a slight hold of the ADS TRIGGER.  As Aim Abuse interferes with scopes and vehicles, you will have to rely more on the Mod Toggle to suspend or resume mods.

 

Aim Abuse has a learning curve.  Following these points will maximize its effectiveness:

  • The in-game AIM ASSIST setting MUST be set to ON.

  • Slight aiming in and out with camera shaking is normal behavior.

  • Aim Abuse is an assist, NOT an aimbot.  Once it snaps to a target, you will have gently guide your aiming stick towards the direction the target is moving in for your shots to hit.

  • Limit your own movement speed when practical, especially at range.

  • Space out your shots at range, or activate Smart Fire AI.

  • Aim Abuse interferes with scoping, but if the ADS TRIGGER is LESS than fully held, you can still scope in to take the shot.

  • Aim Abuse interferes with vehicle braking, but if the ADS TRIGGER is LESS than fully held, you will brake normally.

  • If you have a high ping where you have to lead shots then you may be out of luck.

CLASS 3 – SHOT MODE

When Crouch Aim is ON, whenever you are FULLY AIMING DOWN SIGHTS, you will crouch, which improves the accuracy of your shots.  You will stand upon release.  Consider moving your Rotate Piece Button.

When Hop Shot is ON, whenever you are FULLY HOLDING ATTACK/FIRE, you will repeatedly jump with ideal stamina timing.

When Rapid Crouch on Fire is ON, whenever you are FULLY HOLDING ATTACK/FIRE, you will rapidly crouch and fire, which makes you difficult to hit.

When Rapid Crouch Aim is ON, whenever you are FULLY AIMING DOWN SIGHTS, you will rapidly crouch and fire, which makes you difficult to hit.

 
CLASS 4 – SPLIT FIRE

SPLIT FIRE FOR COMBAT PRO OR BUILDER PRO BUTTON LAYOUT.  When Split Fire is ON, this powerful mod adds a second function to the left/right weapon switch buttons, allowing you to use several ideal combinations of mods without affecting your triggers or assigning a precious paddle.

 

  • As long as you are HOLDING the Left Weapon Switch Button (default L1 / LB) the first mod will activate, OR, as long as you are HOLDING the Right Weapon Switch Button (default R1 / RB) the second mod will activate.

  • If you wish to switch weapons or have the buttons basically function as they normally would, QUICKLY TAP & RELEASE.

  • If you wish to have either buttons held with a normal in-game function, QUICKLY TAP, RELEASE & HOLD the button; this is useful for actions that require you to hold for a period of time.

Note that if you are flipped, your left/right weapon switch buttons can potentially be on your triggers and the trigger must be FULLY HELD all the way down to activate the mod.

For Builder Pro, these mods are intended to be used with Build Mode Tracking Enabled in the Mod Central config, or alternatively the Build Assist Pro Paddle Mod.  Without a solution, these mods can rotate or block your building pieces.

 
CLASS 5 & 6 – PADDLE MODS

When Class 5 is ON, LEFT PADDLE will activate your chosen Paddle Mod.

When Class 6 is ON, RIGHT PADDLE will activate your chosen Paddle Mod.

TAP PADDLE TO JUMP can be enabled for either or both paddles in Mod Central.  QUICKLY TAP & RELEASE the PADDLE to jump.  HOLD the PADDLE to perform your assigned Paddle Mod.

  • "Jump Activation Window" determines how quickly you will need to TAP & RELEASE to JUMP.  The default 250 is a safe value, but if you have a quicker reaction time you may find that lower values suit your play style better.

WEAPON FIRE AI DETECTION REQUIRES that you are clear and away from any vibrations, action, enemies, grenades and the storm.  You MUST have at least a reload remaining to ensure correct weapon detection.

  • For Smart Fire AI, WHILE PRESSING & HOLDING L3 / LS, TAP YOUR SMART FIRE AI PADDLE and your weapon will do a quick test fire.

  • For Dual Fire AI, arrange your inventory so that your dual weapons are side by side, select the weapon in the left slot, then WHILE PRESSING & HOLDING L3 / LS, TAP YOUR DUAL FIRE AI PADDLE and your weapons will do a quick test fire.

 
BUILD ASSIST PRO FEATURES
Here is the full feature set of the Build Assist Pro Paddle Mod.  Please ensure that you have fully read the Gamepack Setup section of this manual.

  • Spring Loaded Build Mode.  Build Assist Pro (also Build Assist) ONLY enters and stays in Build Mode for as long as you are HOLDING the Build Assist Pro PADDLE.  Once you are accustomed to this change, it can be far more convenient than taking your thumb off the Right Stick to open Build Mode with Circle / B, only to do it again to close it.

  • Mod Friendly.  Build Assist Pro (also Build Assist) automatically blocks all mods that are not building related for as long as you are HOLDING the Build Assist Pro PADDLE to stay in Build Mode.  This allows you to use any mod without fear of it interfering when you try to build.

  • Safety Bunker can be set in the Mod Central config under Build Assist Pro Square/X or Triangle/Y Mod.  It allows you to quickly build a small hut to provide cover so that you can heal yourself or revive a teammate.  Have enough materials, and be aligned north, east, south, or west, on even ground.  While HOLDING the Build Assist Pro PADDLE, be close to the wall blueprint and point in the middle of the 4 icons, then TAP the ACTIVATION Button to build the bunker.

  • Quick 90 can be set in the Mod Central config under Build Assist Pro Square/X or Triangle/Y Mod.  It allows you to quickly change direction on a ramp, massively boosting your building mobility.  If you are building ramps, you should have plenty of building materials.  While HOLDING the Build Assist Pro PADDLE, run up the opposite side of the ramp to the side that you wish to turn, so if you want to turn right, run up the left side, and if you want to turn left, run up the right side.  When you reach the top of the ramp, TAP the ACTIVATION Button then FLICK the RIGHT STICK left or right to determine your direction.  You will automatically build a protective wall and a ramp up in that direction.

  • Infinite Fort can be set in the Mod Central config under Build Assist Pro Square/X or Triangle/Y Mod.  It allows you to keep building up fort levels to gain the high ground.  Have plenty of building materials, and be aligned north, east, south, or west, on even ground.  While HOLDING the Build Assist Pro PADDLE, be close to the wall blueprint and point in the middle of the 4 icons, then HOLD the ACTIVATION Button to build the fort.

  • Rapid Ramp can be set in the Mod Central config under Build Assist Pro Square/X or Triangle/Y Mod.  It allows you to build a continuous chain of reinforced ramps.  Have plenty of building materials, and be aligned north, east, south, or west, on even ground.  While HOLDING the Build Assist Pro PADDLE, look slightly down; roughly 30 degrees, so you can see the ramp that will be placed under you.  Getting the right angle can take some practice.  HOLD the ACTIVATION Button and simply run forward while remaining looking slightly down.

  • Window Shot & Edit Shot can be set in the Mod Central config under Build Assist Pro Square/X or Triangle/Y Mod.  These mods allow you to quickly create a window in a building piece, take a shot through it, and then reset the building piece in one motion; ideal with a shotgun or hand cannon.  If there is no existing building piece, the mod will create one for you.  Window Shot works specifically with wall pieces, whereas Edit Shot will work with either wall or floor pieces.

  • While HOLDING the Build Assist Pro PADDLE, and looking at the building piece that you wish to edit, TAP the ACTIVATION Button to perform the action.  Note that being too close to the building piece will prevent it from resetting afterwards.  And if you HOLD the ACTIVATION Button instead, you can time when to confirm the edit, so that you can wait for your opponent to be on the other side of the building piece.

  • Fast Reset can be set in the Mod Central config under Build Assist Pro Square/X or Triangle/Y Mod.  It allows you to quickly reset a build edit on a structure, such as filling in a window to make it a solid wall.  While HOLDING the Build Assist Pro PADDLE, look at the edited building piece that you wish to reset, then TAP the ACTIVATION Button.

  • Insta Trap can be set in the Mod Central config under Build Assist Pro Square/X or Triangle/Y Mod.  It allows you to instantly place your current trap.  While HOLDING the Build Assist Pro PADDLE, TAP the ACTIVATION Button.  Note that regardless of this setting, this mod is also available on the OPTIONS/MENU Button, so you may wish to pick something else.

  • Wall Ramp can be set in the Mod Central config under Build Assist Pro Square/X or Triangle/Y Mod.  It allows you to quickly build a wall with a ramp for you to peak over.  Have enough building materials, and be aligned north, east, south, or west, on even ground.  While HOLDING the Build Assist Pro PADDLE, be close to the wall blueprint and point in the middle of the 4 icons, then TAP the ACTIVATION Button to build the wall ramp.

  • Safety Net 2.0 (Waterfall) is always available.  It allows you to safely make your way down from a high place.  Have plenty of building materials or you will run out and take fall damage, and be aligned north, east, south, or west.  While HOLDING the Build Assist Pro PADDLE, TAP the DOWN D-Pad.  You will automatically look down.  Carefully begin moving backwards, and aim to land on the top half of the upcoming ramp to avoid taking damage.  Do NOT look up until you reach the ground as this will deactivate the mod.

  • Smart Edit is always available.  It allows you to use the Edit Button to edit whichever building piece you are currently looking at, as opposed to the piece you have selected.

  • Switch Trap & Insta Trap are always available.

  • While HOLDING the Build Assist Pro PADDLE:

  • To instantly switch your current trap, TAP the RIGHT D-Pad.

  • This is NOT compatible with the in game Builder Pro: Build Immediately setting.​

  • To instantly place your current trap, TAP the OPTIONS/MENU Button.

  • Stance Change is always available.  It allows you to toggle your crouch status while building.  While HOLDING the Build Assist Pro PADDLE, TAP the UP D-Pad.​

 
MENU NAVIGATION & ADJUSTABLES

All adjustable mods can be adjusted in Mod Central.  This section provides context and additional information on adjusting them on your controller using the Menu Mode.

  • To enter Menu Mode, HOLD LEFT D-PAD for at least 5 seconds.  You MUST remain HOLDING LEFT D-PAD to stay in Menu Mode.

Class Structure:

  • Class 1 = Weapon Fire AI.

  • Class 2 = Aim Abuse & Aim Abuse Adjustment.

  • Class 3 = Shot Mode.

  • Class 4 = Split Fire.

  • Class 5 = Left Paddle.

  • Class 6 = Right Paddle.

Menu Mode Navigation:

  • SQUARE / X goes UP a class.

  • CROSS / A goes DOWN a class.

  • TAPPING a PADDLE goes to the class for that PADDLE.

    • GREEN Lightbar / WHITE LED flashes indicate the currently selected class number.

  • TRIANGLE / Y goes UP a mod within the currently selected class.

  • CIRCLE / B goes DOWN a mod within the currently selected class.

  • This will change your currently enabled mod!

    • PURPLE Lightbar / GREEN LED flashes indicate the currently enabled mod number.

Rapid Fire Rate.

  • This adjusts Mod 4 Rapid Fire or Mod 5 Dynamic Fire (it does NOT adjust Rapid Fire AI):

  • Navigate to Class 1 on Mod 4 or 5 to adjust the shared Rapid and Dynamic Fire setting.

  • L1 / LB will decrease the Rapid Fire rate of fire.

  • R1 / RB will decrease the Rapid Fire rate of fire.

  • R2 / RT will test fire so that you can ensure your shots are not skipping.

  • Remember that each weapon has limits on maximum rate of fire.

Burst Fire Length.

  • Navigate to Class 1 on Mod 6 to adjust the shared Burst Fire setting.

  • L1 / LB will increase the length of each burst.

  • R1 / RB will increase the frequency of each burst with short bursts.

  • R2 / RT will test fire so that you can balance accuracy with rate of fire.

Aim Abuse.

  • If you want a fixed Aim Abuse / Aim Assist timing of your own making, set "Aim Abuse Mode" to "Custom" in Mod Central to enable Aim Abuse adjustments:

  • Navigate to Class 2 on Mod 1 or 2 to adjust the Aim Abuse.

  • L1 / LB will decrease ADS Hold Time.

  • R1 / RB will increase ADS Hold Time.

  • L2 / LT will decrease ADS Release Time.

  • R2 / RT will increase ADS Release Time.

  • L3 / LS will decrease Aim Assist Strength.

  • R3 / RS will increase Aim Assist Strength.

  • Aim Abuse is always running while you are adjusting it for testing purposes.  It is helpful to have a friend on the enemy team in Creative, strafing left and right across your crosshairs.

  • For Aim Assist Strength, you can count the number of RED Lightbar flashes on PS4 or RT rumbles on XB1 to determine whether you are 1-35 (0 sets the Aim Assist component to OFF).  The default setting of 15 will be good for most players but depending on your sensitivity settings, you may wish to adjust it.  It works best when you can just barely see your camera shaking.  If you set the value too high for your sensitivity, your aim will drift.

    • NOTE:  You can adjust Aim Assist Strength by itself as well, on Class 2 Mod 3.

 

Turbo Paddle.

  • Navigate to either Class 5 or 6 on Mod 15 to adjust the shared Turbo Paddle setting.

  • L1 / LB will decrease Turbo Speed.

  • R1 / RB will increase Turbo Speed.
